The 54,000,000 children in our K-12 schools are each like puzzle pieces in a broad education landscape. Each of the 4,800,000 English learner puzzle pieces are a part of that landscape and have a rightful place in that puzzle. Not one is expendable. Each one deserves the best possible education we can provide regardless of the language they speak. So while ELs are learning English, they need massively multilingual educational content to help them stay on pace.
